For drill last Thursday, members drove Engine 72 to Smallwood State Park in Marbury and practiced drafting from the Mattawoman Creek.

PHVFD&RS, April 27

Last night, Potomac Heights VFD&RS held a Motor Vehicle Collision (MVC) drill. Members worked on studying the scene upon arrival, stabilization techniques, and vehicle extrication techniques using tools available on Squad 7. Patient assessment and removal from the vehicle was planned, but our EMS crew was dispatched for a call.

MVC Assessment & Vehicle Stabilization Drill

PHVFD&RS, April 15

During last night's drill, Potomac Heights VFD&RS members worked on studying the scene upon arrival and stabilization techniques at a Motor Vehicle Collision (MVC). Upcoming drills will build upon this adding vehicle extrication and patient assessment and removal.
