A special rescue took place right here across from our station when one of our resident ospreys became sick and was no longer able to fly. The osprey was found walking between the station and Delta Place, where members of CCSD stepped in to keep watch and help care for the bird while waiting for assistance from Owl Moon Raptor Center.
