On January 12th, Engine 72, Chief 7, and Chief 7A responded to 4640 Strauss Avenue for a reported shed fire. Engine 72 arrived and assumed 1st due position and found a 10x10 storage shed on fire with extension to an old furniture warehouse currently being used as an automotive repair shop. Chief 7 had command and Chief 7A had Operations. Units operated on the scene for approximately 2 hours. The MD State Fire Marshall is investigating the cause of the fire.
