Around 8:40 this morning, Potomac Heights VFD&RS was alerted to a structure fire on Dysons Lane and Gabriel Drive in Bryans Road. Chief 7, Engine 72, and Squad 7 responded. Heavy smoke could be seen coming up MD-210 and upon arrival, an abandoned one story, single family home was observed fully involved. A working fire was declared and Potomac Heights VFD&RS, Bryans Road VFD&RS, Naval District Washington FD, and Waldorf VFD Station 12 extinguished the fire.
