On Sunday, 02 May, Potomac Heights Volunteer Fire Department & Rescue Squad hosted the 74th Annual Southern Maryland Volunteer Firemen's Association (SMVFA) Convention. Events included the annual Memorial Service, Awards Ceremony, and Convention Meeting. All of these were live streamed via Zoom and YouTube. During the meeting, Potomac Heights Volunteer Fire Department & Rescue Squad member, Jeff Clements, was sworn in as the 2021 - 2022 President of the Southern Maryland Volunteer Firemen's Association. It was our honor to host those who could attend and many more online.
