On Tuesday, September 17th, two of our members that are enrolled in the Charles County High School Cadet Program were promoted to Corporal. Brenden Donais and Anthony “Mitch” Painter were promoted to Corporal based on an evaluation, by the class instructors and coordinator, on their leadership skills during the first few weeks of school. As Corporals, they will be assigned additional leadership roles, have added responsibilities and be assigned three additional Cadets that they will be in charge of. Brenden was “pinned” this morning by his parents, Timmy and Melissa Donais. Mitch was “pinned” by his mother, Maria Painter, and family friend/PHVFD Life Member, Billy Valentine. Several other members attended the promotion ceremony. We are very proud of the accomplishments of these two members and look forward to watching them flourish in their new roles as Corporals.
