The Potomac Heights Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad Inc. regrets to announce the passing of Past Chief James Roy Lyon Jr. Chief Lyon joined our department in August of 1962. While a member, he held the following positions, Rescue Squad Lieutenant(1964), Fire Marshall(1966), Assistant Chief (1967-1972), Board of Director (1967-1969, 1974-1975) and Department Chief (1973).
